Mechanical Engineering, MEng
I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate (MEng Hons) with a deep passion for solving real-world problems at the intersection of design, simulation and intelligent computations. My portfolio includes desigining an opening mechanism for a swing bridge to applying Finite Element Anslysis (FEA) principles to solve strucutral problems. I enjoy integrating CAD modelling and FEA/CFD simulations with tools like Python, MATLAB and C++ to develop engineering solutions suitable for real-world applications.
Project Highlights
As the Mechanical Lead, I designed and simulated the full swing-bridge opening mechanism, including hydraulic lifting, torque transmission, braking, and locking subsystems. My work focused on mechanical feasibility, structural loads, motor sizing, and FEA-based stress validation.
